About this experience
The reefs of Baa Atoll support healthy populations of hawksbill and green sea turtles. Several sites a short boat ride from Dimora Blu are known for consistent sightings year-round.
We visit two or three reefs on each trip, moving with the tide. Turtles here are habituated to snorkelers but respected — we keep a quiet distance, and sightings of three or four individuals in a single session are common during calm weather.
The waters are warm year-round and visibility is generally excellent. Suitable for beginner snorkelers and families with confident swimmers.
